W. “Bud” Shanks; a sister, Betty Edwards; and two brothers, Charles and Bobby Pettrey. Marie was a 1950 graduate of Hinton High School and devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Fidelis Class. Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Susan (Richard) Lawrence of Charleston, Terri (Frank) Kirkham of Hinton; three grandchildren, Brad (Melissa) Kirkham of Hinton, Rick (Amy) Lawrence of Charleston, Brian (Meg) Kirkham of Lewisburg; four great grandchildren, Jack and Ellen Lawrence of Charleston, Bella and Colt Kirkham of Hinton; one sister, Ramona Priest of Rootstown, OH; one brother, Ralph Pettrey of True; special friend and nurse, Donna Rollyson and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 with Pastors Tom and Dalene Coffman officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral parlors. Burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Cemetery in Forest Hill. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bowers Hospice Care, Beckley, WV or Walk for Her Lifetime.1 |

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Kermit R. Tucker, in 1995 and also by one sister, Clara Dawson, and four brothers, Robert Wolfe, Jesse Wolfe, Meldon Wolfe and Seldon "Pat" Wolfe. She retired from the former Halmode Sewing Plant in Covington and was a cafeteria worker at the former Boiling Springs Elementary School. Margie was a longtime member of Highland Chapel Christian Church. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. J. B. Broughman officiating. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.1 |

He retired as a paper weigher from Westvaco Corp. after 30 years of service. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Cleo Nida Wolfe of Covington; one granddaughter, Linda Wolfe; three grandsons, Scott A. Wolfe; Eric L. Wolfe and Corey D. Hall, all of Covington; one brother, Seldon R. "Pat" Wolfe, Sr. of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Dawson and Mrs. Margie Tucker, both of Covington; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Lorrie Hall of Covington. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Price officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bill Gilliland. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery with graveside rites conducted by Curtis A.
