Allen B. Reese, 46, of Talcott, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Summers Co. ARH following a sudden illness. Born March 30, 1962 at Montgomery, he was a son of the late Darrell and Thelma Reese. He is preceded in death by one sister, Alice Parrish and one brother, Ernest “Squeakie� Reese. He is survived by his wife, Aldona Martin Reese, two sons; Michael Kovalkevich of Ohio and Allen Martin of Talcott, one daughter; Amanda Martin of Hinton; six grandchildren, three brothers; Mike Reese and wife Sue of Cleveland, OH, Ronnie Reese and wife Debbie of Deepwater, Risty Reese and wife Anna Mae of Kincaid; two sisters, Betty Pemberton of N.C. and Kara Shaffer of Paige. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Dallas Peyton officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 1:00 P.M. until funeral time on Wednesday.

Denver Franklin Burgess, 87, of Chesapeake passed away December 11, 2009 in the Huntington VA hospital.
Denver was a veteran of WWII. He retired from the Dupont Belle Plant with 42 years service. He was a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Amy Burgess; wife, Jannetta Burgess; brother, Dennis Ray Burgess; and sisters, Christine Halstead and Thelma Cumbridge.
Survived by: daughter, Pamela Lucas of Chesapeake, WV; sister, Vivian Brown of St. Albans; friend and brother-in-law, James Green, and “the light of his life” Travis Mayse both of Winifrede; Juretta Bradley of Denver, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, friends and Gizmo.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
The Funeral Service will be 1pm Tuesday, December 15 at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:30am Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
