Born in December of 1924, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lawrence and Dora Bennett Davis.

She worked as a LPN at the Hinton Hospital where she loved taking care of the newborn babies. She later worked at Pinecrest Sanitarium in Beckley and in later years she was the produce lady at Pence Springs Flea Market.

Preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Bragg.

Survived by three sons, Ralph Daniel Bragg and wife Marilyn of Brookville, Ohio, Donnie L. Bragg, Paul D. “Gig” Bragg and wife Debbie, all of Tug Creek Mt; one daughter, Dorry Bragg of Florida; eight grandchildren, Anna Lee, Donald, Russel, Lori, Yubecca, Michael, Cody and Geneva; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside service and burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at the Bragg Family Cemetery on Tug Creek Mt. with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.

Her goal in life was to be a good mother; she exceeded that goal. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be sorely missed.

Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family is thankful to the staff at Summers Nursing and Rehab for their compassionate support and care and would request that memorial contributions be made to the activities group at Summers Nursing and Rehab.

Donnie Bragg, 73, of Tug Creek Mountain. passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Charleston Area Medical Center General Division following a brief illness.
Born May 1, 1949 in Hinton he was a son of the late Paul W. and Geneva Davis Bragg.
Donnie was a US Army Veteran, having served 13 months in Vietnam. He enjoyed bluegrass music, maintaining his farm and carpentry.
Those left who loved him include his three children, Annalee Ramirez and husband J.R. of Houston, TX, Donald Bragg and wife Kim of Birmingham, AL and Russel Bragg of Tug Creek Mtn; eight grandchildren, Shelby, James and Robbie Ramirez, Alexander and Melody Bragg and Andrew, David and Leah Bragg; three siblings, Ralph Daniel Bragg and wife Marilyn of Brookville, OH, Paul D. “Gig” Bragg and wife Debbie of Tug Creek Mtn. and Dorry Bragg of Longwood, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Bragg Family Cemetery at Tug Creek Mountain with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery from 10:30 A.M. until time of services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to the Hinton Lions Club which assisted with his early treatments for glaucoma.4
