David was a machine and jack operator for Speed Mining in Kanawha County.

A loving and devoted family survive which include his parents Donald and Gloria; wife of 28 years, Irene Michelle Perry Poff; daughter, Marissa Poff of Scarbro; brothers, Kevin Poff and wife, April of Oak Hill and Brian Poff of North Carolina; sister, Melissa Sabad and husband, Alex of Los Angeles, CA; numerous nieces and nephews; and his brothers in the mining industry.

Services will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Larry Humphrey officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Eddie Maynor, Kevin Poff, Brian Poff, Caden Poff, Carson Poff and Evan Maynor will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
