Mrs. Elsie C. Alderson, 83. of 42 21st St Nitro, died Tuesday in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was a retired piano and organ instructor and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church, where she was organist. She was a member of the Nitro Women's Club and was past-president and member of Capitol Women's Club. She was a native of Bethel, Conn. Surviving: sisters, Mrs. George Noxon and Mrs. Stanley Boomer, both of Bethel Conn. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Marks Episcopal Church, St. Albans. with the Rev. Harold White officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Bethel, Conn.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Cooke-Pauley Funeral Home. Nitro. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service. The family requests donations be made to the Choir Fund of St. Marks Episcopal Church, St. Albans.7,3 
Burial* Her body was interred at Bethel, Fairfield Co, CT, at Center Cem.7,8
