John Henry Jacobi 95, Fishers, died October 31, 2006 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born September 29, 1911 to Charles and Maude (Combs) Jacobi in Greenfield, IN. A farmer by trade, John was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Fortville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, and the oldest Alumnus of Fishers High School, graduating in 1929. John is survived by two sons, Larry (Marianne) Jacobi of Noblesville, and Charles (Shirley) Jacobi of McCordsville; daughter, Leann McElroy of Reno, NV; brothers, Ralph Holsinger and Ron Holsinger; sisters, Mildred Johns, Mary Jo Downey, and Barbara Denson; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Agnes Jacobi, in 1998. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 3 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, with Pastor Charles Voit officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 2. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Service of Hamilton County, Inc., PO Box 221, Noblesville, IN 46061.1 |
