Lorraine W. Burgess of Eugene died Sept. 22 of age-related causes. She was 95. No service is planned.
She was born Nov. 15, 1915, in Devils Tower, Wyo. She married Adam Burgess on May 3, 1930, in Harden, Mont. He died in 1985.
She graduated from Lane Community College with a nursing degree. She worked as a licensed practical nurse in Sacred Heart General Hospital's cardiac unit.
Survivors include a brother, Gene Songer of Sheridan, Wyo; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Patricia Henry, and a son, Daniel Burgess, died previously.
A burial service was held Sept. 27 at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
