Nancy Dadisman Athey, 75, of Bassett, Va. passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. She was born on August 31, 1941 in Philippi, W.Va. to the late Isaac W. and Ellen K. Dadisman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Charlotte Miller and husband Harry K. and Eleanor J. Koontz and husband Earl; half-sister, Annabell Heimaster and husband John; and brother, Robert E. Lee Dadisman.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Robert Athey of Bassett, Va; sons, Mark Athey and wife Misuk of Clarksville, Tenn. and Todd Athey and wife Donna of Axton, Va; sisters, Carolyn Joan Dadisman of Philippi, W.Va. and Barbara Ellen Harris Phillips of Junior, W.Va. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Norris Funeral Services and other times at the home of her son, Todd Athey, 710 River Ridge Lane, Axton, VA 24054 . Burial will be at Henry Memorial Park.
