Lurlean Tingler Fridley, 85, of 8100 Mill Branch Road, died Monday, October 03, 2005 at Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor.
She was born October 26, 1919, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Jacob Henry and Johanna Simmons Tingler.
Mrs. Fridley was a life member of Pinnell Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a former adult Sunday School Teacher
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis V. Fridley in 1973; an infant son, Daniel Martin Fridley in 1946; and seven brothers and sisters, Clara Tucker, Harry Tingler, Nan Chapman Blankenship, Jesse Tingler, Howard Tingler, William 'Bill' Tingler, and Tom Tingler.
Surviving are her son, Rodney D. Fridley, of Covington; a special friend, Ida Crowder of Covington; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Brown officiating, assisted by the Rev. Billy Bess.
The interment will be made in the Lone Star Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects anytime at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m..1,2 |
