Mr. Dent was a Lead Screener/Trainer with the TSA.
He was a former member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene; was a former employee of the Fayette Tribune and Phillip Morris and was a US Army Vietnam veteran.
A brother, Steven Eugene Dent preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Keith Dent of Clarksburg and Timothy Wayne Dent of Beckley; three brothers, Kenneth Allen Dent of Oak Hill, Glen Franklin Dent of Muncie, IN and William Keith Dent of Muncie, IN; three sisters, Barbara Jean Pritt and husband, Michael of Gauley Bridge, Sandra Louise Dent of Fayetteville and Brenda Elaine Davis of Fayetteville; and a stepsister, Pamela Hill of Fayetteville
Funeral services will be on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Stacy Dingess officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill with military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW #3110. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Steven Dent, Timothy Dent, Kenneth Dent, William Dent, Glen Dent and Michael Ashmore will serve as pallbearers.1 |
