Mary Leah Roberts, daughter of Mary (Cary) and Joseph Alderson, was born November 11, 1892, at Benton City, Mo. She was married November 28, 1909, at Wellsville, Mo. to George R. Roberts. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Lennox Park Baptist church of Burlington and of the Royal Neighbors.
Besides Mr. Roberts she leaves the following children: Mrs. Marie Mineart, Aledo, Ill, Melbourne Roberts, Farmington, Mrs. Elizabeth McCanon, Omaha, Nebr., ten grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, five great-grandchildren, also two brothers, George Alderson, Burlington, and Roy Alderson, Troy, Mo., a sister, Mrs. Virginia Hansen, Hubbard. Two brothers and one sister preceded her.
Services will be held Sunday, November 13, at 2 o'clock at the Elliott chapel. Burial in Burge cemetery.
