Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Sebert Boothe.

She is survived by a son, Jim Boothe of Oak Hill; three daughters, Mary F. Ellison of Bradley, Donna K. Bavely and her husband, John, of Goode, Va., and Sandra L. Thompson and her husband, Bob, of Oak Hill; a former daughter-in-law, Brenda Allen of Oak Hill; a son-in-law, George Ellison of Mount Hope; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, 1435 E. Main St., Oak Hill, with the Rev. David White officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

James Leon “Jim” Boothe, 58, of Oak Hill, died at his home June 28, 2006.

Born March 16, 1948, at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Sebert Boothe and Frances Ann Broyles Boothe.

Jim was a graduate of West Virginia Tech in Montgomery, was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Oak Hill United Methodist Church, a Mason with the Masonic Lodge, a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and was employed by Verizon Telephone.

Surviving: his children, James L. Boothe II and Mallory K. Boothe, both of Oak Hill; his former wife, Brenda K. Allen; and sisters, Mary F. Ellison of Bradley, Donna K. Bavely and husband, John, of Goode, Va., and Sandra L. Thompson and husband, Bob, of Oak Hill.

Service was July 1 at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Dr. John Sauvage and the Rev. William Slates officiating. Burial followed in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.

Military rites were conducted by Oak Hill VFW Post 3110.
