Marriage* Elizabeth 'Betsy' Scott married Joseph Larew, son of Jacob Larew and Mary Fortiner.1
Death*2 Apr 1843 Elizabeth died on 2 Apr 1843 at Christians Creek, Augusta Co, VA.
"Died, at her residence on Christian's Creek, in Augusta county, after a long and protracted illness, which she bore with christian fortitude, on Sunday evening the 2nd inst., Mrs. Elizabeth Larew, the wife of the late Col. Joseph Larew, in the 57th year of her age--leaving a numerous family of children and relatives to mourn her loss. The skill of medical attention and the attention of children and friends were in vain. God saw fit to take her--and it becomes all to acquiesce in his dispensations and to say, it is the will of the Lord; let him do what seemeth to him good".2
