Wilma Bragg Light Withrow, 86, of Oak Hill, passed away June 12, 2016, at Hubbard Hospice House, in Charleston after a 13-year battle with Alzheimer's. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Ethel Bragg of Fayetteville. Wilma was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church. She worked as a homemaker and lovingly cared for her parents for many years. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Hueston Bragg, Earl Bragg, Harold Bragg, and Erma Burley. Wilma is survived by her two daughters, Zoe Matics of Charleston and Rita Gay (Tim) McGuffin of Oak Hill; four grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Ball of Huntington, Darrin (Tega) McGuffin of Oak Hill, Hannah (Allen) Hudson of South Charleston, Derek McGuffin of Oak Hill; and two great-grandchildren that brightened her world, Haden McGuffin and Lucy Ball. Also living is her husband, Don Withrow of Oak Hill. The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff of Montgomery Extended Care for showing her love, compassion, dignity, and patience with the care they provided every day. They would also like to express their sincere thanks to the Hospice staff for going above and beyond to ensure a peaceful passing. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Mon. June 20, at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with entombment to follow at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum also in Oak Hill. Service will be officiated by Rev. Pete Lokant. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
